The aim of the workshop hosted by Äerd Lab is to present the concept of combining sustainable materials with additive manufacturing in architecture and a short study on the performative architectural feature.

We will focus on curves, surface typology and next on giving it a thickness while designing cavities. This simplified process corresponds to the workflow that has to be faced in order to design and 3D print a clay house.
