The question of housing in Luxembourg is one of the major concerns of the population and a pressing challenge at the political level. With the support of the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning, LUCA is hosting the exhibition ‘Our New Housing - An Invitation to Cooperate’. This exhibition explores the anatomy of the housing market and presents an alternative model for creating housing that avoids speculation and remains affordable in the long term: the housing cooperative. This exhibition, based on Céline Zimmer's doctoral thesis, is part of LUCA's intent to advance the debate on housing in Luxembourg. It will be accompanied by a series of lectures, workshops, and guided tours.

La question du logement au Luxembourg compte parmi les préoccupations majeures de la population et constitue un défi pressant au niveau politique. Avec le soutien du Ministère du Logement et de l'Aménagement du territoire, le LUCA accueille l’exposition « Our New Housing – An Invitation to Cooperate ». Cette exposition examine l'anatomie du marché du logement et présente un modèle alternatif pour créer des logements qui échappent à la spéculation et restent abordables sur le long terme : les coopératives d'habitations.
Cette exposition, conçue à partir de la thèse de doctorat de Céline Zimmer, s’inscrit dans la volonté du LUCA de faire avancer le débat sur le logement au Luxembourg. Elle sera accompagnée d'une série de conférences, d'ateliers et de visites guidées.

Die Wohnungsfrage ist in Luxemburg ein zentrales Anliegen der Bevölkerung und demnach eine drängende Herausforderung für die Politik. Mit Unterstützung des Ministeriums für Wohnungsbau und Raumentwicklung zeigt das LUCA die Ausstellung „Our New Housing – An Invitation to Cooperate“. Darin wird die Anatomie des Wohnungsmarktes untersucht und ein alternatives Modell vorgestellt, das bezahlbaren Wohnraum schafft und diesen langfristig dem spekulativen Markt entzieht : die Wohngenossenschaft.
Die Ausstellung, die auf der Grundlage der Doktorarbeit von Céline Zimmer konzipiert wurde, ist Teil des Bestrebens des LUCA, die Debatte über den Wohnungsmarkt in Luxemburg voranzutreiben. Sie wird von einer Reihe von Vorträgen, Workshops und Führungen begleitet.
